I still remember last year around this time where I lost 6 months of my work, data and emails due to a hard disk crash. 6 months is a lot of data lost even for a small company like ours! No fun. No fun at all. If we’ve got something like IDrive-E at that time, [...]

Aaarrgghhh!!!
This weather’s really unbearable! The rain this afternoon did nothing to cool the air down. In fact, it made matters worse. It’s not more humid than ever. I showered only a couple of hours ago and I’m already all sticky all over.
I took a nap this afternoon and I actually dreamt of air-conditioning. Yes. I [...]

Things have certainly changed a lot since I was born.
1973 vs. 2007
Excerpt:
Scenario: Johnny and Mark get into a fist fight after school.
1973: Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up best friends.
2007: Police called, SWAT team arrives, arrests Johnny and Mark. Charge them with assault, both expelled even though Johnny started [...]

I first knew about PayPerPost in an entry on Mandrake’s blog about it. They provide advertisers the opportunity to advertise on blogs of other bloggers. Deciding that there’s no harm in trying this out, I signed up an account and started looking around the site and its list of opportunities.
Like Mandrake, I choose to take [...]

The weather’s taking a turn for the worse. It’s been getting really warm and humid since yesterday. Despite that, I went for a ride anyway. A friend of mine told me since I’m going to shower anyway, might as well do some exercise before the shower. Makes sense. So off I went.
I was actually kind [...]

It was a boring Sunday and I was going through the Apple Quicktime movie trailer site checking out what upcoming movies there are when I spotted this movie called “Bug” starring Ashley Judd, one of my favourite actresses.
As far as I know, I don’t remember her doing any horror films so it’ll be interesting [...]

I think I overdid it on yesterday’s ride. My legs are aching and I’m limping ‘cos something’s hurting on my left. I remember stretching and warming down so I’m not sure what triggered this bout of pain and soreness. I think it’s time for some recovery, to think I’m still going to try for some [...]

This is another pay per post opportunity but it does offer something I wished I had access to when I first started my business 4 years ago.
We used to have a book keeper that cost us around $100 per month and all she does was to come to our office and close the accounts. Given [...]

I usually do my rides in the middle of the night where there are less cars on the road but today’s an exception. I was on my way back from cooking class when the evening sun coupled with the strong breeze made the weather look and feel so good. It felt so wrong if I [...]

While on the topic of low productivity, I stumbled upon this site.
33 Rules to Boost Your Productivity
33 rules. I did manage to get to the 3rd one before drifting off to something else and I’ve already forgotten what they are. I do remember that there’s a second part with another 33 rules. Hope it helps [...]

Very low on productivity today. Fiddling with my blog, changed the theme, updated some stuff to make sure things and plugins are still working. Debugged some minor problems with some of the plugins and made some changes again. Working now.
For actual work. Nothing much done, settled some requests, sent out some invoices but I gave [...]

It’s sad to see how the attitude of the shop owners change after you come back to them about their faulty products. The change is so drastic that it makes me sick to my stomach. There is no sincerity anymore.
You can’t help but feel the doubt welling up inside you when people treat you well [...]
