It’s been a while since I’ve played diligently so I decided to pull out Sweetcheeks from her comfy little wooden case and give her a bit of a workout.
We chewed through “Romance”, “D minor”, “????” and we were halfway through “English Rose” when I felt this sharp pain up my first finger and pulled away quickly. Shit! I know that feeling! I’ve felt it before and I knew immediately what had happened.
Fingertip nerve damage.
Seems like I didn’t warm up enough and with my recent recess from playing, my finger’s not up to working so hard. Looks like I’m going to have to take it easy or keep off playing for a few days while my finger recovers. Maybe it’s Sweetcheeks’ way of telling me she’s not happy to be left in the cold for so long.
