Few and far between…

Updates are getting few and far between these days. Not just mine but those (blogs) that I read. Entries of interests are rare these days, not saying that mine’s interesting though, and most often the interesting ones degenerate to an online slugfest started by some freaks with a low sense of self esteem.

Why do people always want to turn something simple to something so complicated. A blog’s a blog, just let it be. Why has it got to be something blown out of proportion by some people who feel that they could get something (money, fame, control) out of this? Why turn it into a fad or fashion statement?

There are media players, entities and individuals alike that are trying to define blogs into something that will suit their needs but in the end, when you look at their so call blogs, they are nothing but news articles or publication articles. They are just calling it blogs to “keep up with the times”.

Can’t it stay as a simple means of communicating a thought here and there, a photo here and there or just a medium of sharing simple thoughts?

Just another rant…
