Flu’s coming back… Part II

Posted in the usual by I@n

As of this morning. My flu’s full blown. Nose having a marathon, throat is dry as the Sahara and I’m tearing like a baby… I’ll be on my way to the doctor when the rain stops.

What a spread!

What a spread!

Went to the Dragon Phoenix restaurant with a bunch of friends 2 weeks ago. We ate like pigs. What you see here in the photo is just the first half. We filled up the table the same way after finishing this spread.

Knowing our age and the health risks did not stop us from devouring it all with gusto for it’s rare that we visit this wonderful restaurant. The last time I came was many years ago.

The food is good but price is a little on the high side and the location is not so accessible. We’ve got some discount this time round so we kind of overdid it but it was a really enjoyable meal… :)

My thumbpick and me…

My thumbpick and me…

It is raining. Pretty heavily too. The rumble of the thunder, flashes of lightning and sound of heavy rain pouring down is a welcome change.

What you see here is a thumbpick. I’ve got myself a bunch of them a couple of months back but have yet to resize them for my thumb, they’re all pretty tight now. Everytime I think of resizing them I end up playing my guitar for hours instead. I really should get it all done up soon or I’ll never get use to playing with them.

Still waiting for some photos of my nephew and his toy guitar…

Bass guitarist in the making?

Posted in the usual by I@n

My sister just bought a 4 string toy guitar for my nephew and he loves it so much that he’s refusing to let it go when he’s sleeping. He now hugs it like a booster when he sleeps. Sounds like we’ve got a bass player in the making. Can’t wait for the photos. emoticon

One of those days…

Posted in the usual by I@n

Hi,

It’s the end of the day and I’m feeling so drained. It’s one of those days that I wish one could just sleep it off. People deal with shit everyday but there are days where it seems like there’s a little bit more of it to handle than usual.

Sigh…

Happenings..

Posted in the usual by I@n

Hi,

My father finally went for his heart bypass successfully. He’s now out of the hospital and recovering. But we’re really hoping that he would keep his sweet tooth in check. He’s diabetic and it’s not going to help him with the whole recovery process if he doesn’t keep his sugar levels in check. The whole ordeal has been real tiring both physically and mentally for everyone.

Met up with aMuse for the first time along with Mandrake and Powerpuff for a quick lunch, coffee cum socks exchange session. Anyone interested in the socks can place an order here, they rock!!! emoticon

Also, fell sick and for the first time ever, my temperature was at 39.4… I’ve never had this kind of a fever before. I was actually shivering under my blanket without any airconditioning and fan on. Not a very good experience. It’s a sign that I should be doing something to improve my health, not getting any younger.

Currently listening to Tristan Prettyman’s debut album, Twenty Three. Nice album. I recommend you give it a try.
