Somehow you can’t shake off the feeling that something is terribly wrong when you read something like this. The police’s response that - the killing was "part of the unrest in three southern provinces" - gives off a pretty nonchalant air to the whole thing, not so nice when a life had just been lost right? News reports should be neutral but when things like that sound so ç?†æ‰€å½“然 a bit dunno what to say…

Yes! Pasar malam is back in TP!
But it’s quite a small one. No "evaluation" software and movies for sale as well and the food’s so-so. The quality of pasa malams these days are dropping, maybe due to the higher rates they’re being charged.
Reached home soggy and wet. It’s been quite a while since I’ve encountered such heavy rain. I actually sat at the void deck enjoying the down-pour and feeling the spray of water in my face as the wind whipped the rain all over. Somehow the rain and wind has a cool and calming effect over me.
I passed by a monsoon drain on my way back and saw the water rushing through it with incredible speed. Can’t imagine what’ll happen if someone or something actually fell into it.
When I finally got onto the bus, the floor was soaked with water as if someone had left in the middle of washing it. Also, I saw some people taking pictures while posing in the rain, they seemed to be enjoying themselves. Should have taken a picture of them but the bus went passed before I could bring out my camera.
Now I’m sitting at home after my shower with a cup of hot tea entering this entry with some oldies playing in the background and I feel a nap coming up… 
Pain… My shoulders are in pain… Feeling an itch on my back now and I can’t reach it, I can’t find my scratching thingy as well… This is torture…
Maggi mee, who was beaten up for no reason, was very angry. So he went to find bee hoon, udon, fried noodles etc to seek revenge. But on the way, they met small bao. Maggi mee looked at small bao for a while then told his bros:"Brothers! Whack him!" Maggi mee whack small bao harder & harder.
After the noodles family has left, they asked Maggi Mee why he hated small bao so much and beat him up so badly.
Maggi mee said:"At first wanna teach him a small lesson only, but then see him act cute, made me so angry."

One day, noodle quarrel with meat bao (bun). They had a fight but bao was too clumsy and lost badly. He was very angry and he told noodle to stay behind if he has the guts and he’ll get his pals to assist him. Meat bao went to find bread, man tou, jian bao etc to get them to reinforce him.
Along the way, they saw maggi mee. They ah bish ah bish ah bish and beat maggi mee up and maggi mee very puzzled why he kena beaten up.
He said:"Why u all beat me? What have I done to deserve this?"
The meat bao said:"Noodle! Dun think u perm your hair and cannot recognise u!"
Yes! It’s that time of the year again! While the rest of Singapore is going crazy 
and trampling over poor old aunties and grandmothers at the Great Singapore Sale. Some, like me, get all excited over the National Day tickets balloting.

Took this picture while on a trip to Malaysia. The noodle is absolutely delicious!
Seeing this picture reminds me of how much I really enjoyed this bowl of duck noodles. I can almost feel the taste of it in my mouth now and it’s making me hungry…
Look at this! This is the kind of crap that everyone goes through everyday when they’re on the bus. People living in Singapore lagi selfish! Everyone’s jammed and packed right up to the front door just because this moronic auntie with vacuum for brains refuses to move back to the end of the bus and stood right by the back door. Don’t tell me she can’t see the situation ‘cos she’s looking right at the front door.
One thing I think they should have installed for those who refuse to move to the back to allow for more people to come up the bus, is some device that will just either eject these people out of the bus or drop them right under the it. Or maybe the bus driver should be given the right to use a broom to shovel these people back or off the bus…

Had this really great mutton stew at Secret Recipe yesterday. Never expected a place like that to do well in both food and desserts. Will be going back to try out their other food.
Hmmm… Severals things happened to my blog today.
First, when I tried posting a blog via email through Flickr, the post didn’t appear. Then I tried submitting through the "blog this" feature, it failed as well. So I decided to upgrade WordPress to 1.5.1.1, after downloading and upgrading, my database went down. Had an appointment with my 师傅 so I decided to fix it only when I’m back.
Came back, found out that I had ran out of space on my server and somehow I’ve corrupted my database. Fixed the database and tried posting via email through Flickr again. Still doesn’t work but the "blog this" feature is now sometimes working sometimes not. Will try the email again sometime later. Not sure if this is Flickr’s bug or WordPress but their both pretty good applications so I hope this is resolved soon.
Recently someone in my neighbourhood bought a car that looks almost like the one I used to drive. It’s the same colour but a slightly different make.
I really miss my car. It’s small, manual shift, not as fast as the newer cars but I had lots of fun with it. I would drive around almost everyday, listening to music, go to the beach to relax etc… I also had my very first major accident when I smashed into the side of a taxi, it was no fault of mine, yeah, sounds familiar right?
I almost cried the day it was towed away after its COE expired. I couldn’t afford to extend the COE as I was broke and jobless (retrenched). It was absolutely heart wrenching. Many thoughts went through my mind that day and they were not pretty. How and why did this happen? Why have things regressed so much while others have progressed? Even thoughts of vengeance surfaced…
Over the years, things around me and the world have changed, I’ve changed as well but the one thing that still remains is how much I miss my little car.
