Post Christmas earthquake / tsunami, last week another earthquake followed by the passing of the pope this morning. Are these signs of what is coming?

My friend’s wife doesn’t allow him to have lamb ‘cos she’s born in the year of the lamb. She impose this restriction not only on my friend but her whole family as well. She’ll seriously get angry if any of them eats lamb in any form, chops, soup etc.
