Casino… Why not prostitution, money laundering and loan sharking?

Yar, economic sense. Bring in money for the country. I think they should just cut the crap.

If you’re saying economic sense, the sex industry can be supported in this context. So is money laundering and "loan sharking", if there’s such a term, you know what I mean.

In fact, all vices and crime can be supported in this context. Let’s have pornography, let’s forget about film ratings. We’re mature enough to handle 2 casinos right? So why not adult films and adult industry?

"We will put in place measures to curb the ills". Yeah, where have we heard that before? "Aiyah! I play a bit only lar. I’m not addicted to gambling lar!". Who in the first place would get themselves addicted to gambling on purpose?

Saying it’s for the greater good’s not going to be good enough, I think they should come up with a better supporting case. They say the world’s changing and we should change too. So why not change the government?

Open dicussion? My foot! Why not a referendum? In fact, where are the human rights activists from US saying about this now? Why the silence?

HYPOCRISY, that’s all I think it is. On one hand they’re telling us to work harder, don’t take the easy way out but on the other hand they’re going the easy way. There’s a chinese saying that goes along the line of whatever riches a family have, it will never go pass 3 generations. I guess for us, Harry junior’s going to be the one who’ll kill us all.
