Trying to book a badminton court is like a sport itself. For months I’ve been waking up at 7am on Tuesdays or staying up to 12 midnight on Saturdays. This is so I could try and book for badminton courts online. This is frustrating because usually I don’t wake up at 7am during weekdays and sometimes I sleep before 12 midnight or I would still be out then. Sometimes I manage to get the court, sometimes I don’t.
This booking routine is really frustrating when at the point where the system opens up the necessary dates for booking, it usually hangs or becomes extremely slow. I think a significant amount of Singapore’s population trying to book the courts at the same time and you’ll be fighting with them to get your booking and the slots are usually booked within 5 minutes. I think there has to be a better way of doing this. Without the need to stressed myself up or make myself so cranky in the morning, really spoils my day…
