Not a good day to take a cab…

Cab number one…

Speeding down PIE towards Tampines as I was dozing off when it sudden swerved violently. Shocked, I just looked around and fail to see what it was that he was trying to avoid. Decided not to doze off again.

Cab number two…

Again on the PIE, now towards Toa Payoh. Dozed off again and was woken up violently as he slammed his brakes while he tried to avoid the road block setup on the right-most lane due to road works. Seeing the back of the construction equipment coming up towards you at around 80km/h is no joke. Based on where it was setup, I figured he should be able to see it way before he reached this point. I wasn’t amused, could feel my heart pounding and adrenaline rushing.

NOT a good day to go on to a taxi…
