Movie adventures…

Posted in the usual by I@n

These days I hardly plan to go watch a movie. If I happen to walk pass a cinema and if I feel that I’ve got maybe around 2 hours or so to spare, I’ll just walk in and try my luck on any of the movies that’s playing.

Every now and then I walk into a disaster. Some movies are really not meant for just a walk-in kind of situation, you’ll have to be mentally prepared for it. Yesterday was just like that, now I’m looking for a movie that’s worth watching to recover from the disaster…

Oh.. It does go up…

Posted in the usual by I@n

Just this morning I wrote something about financial blurps showing only the down side of Tokyo stocks, now in Straitstimes, I saw a blurp saying that their stocks have closed higher… So it does go up…

How far down can it go?

Posted in the usual by I@n

I’m no financial guru, in fact, I’m pretty lost when it comes to anything financial or economic. But everytime I see a financial blurp on the news, most often than not, it’s “Tokyo stock opens lower”, “Nikkei dips” or something along that line. I’m wondering how far can it drop, if you were the japanese you’ll find the trend kind of disturbing, right?

Flu blues…

Posted in the usual by I@n

It’s no denying that age is catching up with me. It used to be that a flu would be nothing more than a little incovenience, daily routine would just go on without a hitch. Self medication would be the way to go with recovery setting in on the second day.

These days I get reduced to a pathetic pile on the bed indistinguishable from the mass of blankets and pillows, coughing and sneezing my insides out. As a packaged deal, it comes with a headache that leaves me wondering if my head was going to burst.

I had to swallow around 6 pills and wait for about half a day for the effects to set in and bring about some relief, at least enough for me to type this down.

The consequence of it all does not end with the physical suffering. Looking at the amount of work and emails piled up, I start with the drudging task of catching up with all that I’ve missed over the past 2 days, sniffing and coughing along…

Dreaming of photography…

Posted in the usual by I@n

I’m sick… No voice, stuck nose… And I had this dream about myself at some remote place, taking pictures… Beatiful pictures…. And it was so enjoyable…

Where to go…

Posted in the usual by I@n

As I sit here with a pack of nuggets waiting for the Incredibles to start, I’m wondering if I should just go to a holiday resort instead.

There are places I would like to go but it’s either the weather or it’s my budget. If I could just come up with another thousand or two I’ll be off to Japan.

Think I played too hard at yesterday’s badminton session, I kind of hurt my right upper back, somewhere around my right lower shoulder blade. Having difficulty moving my right arm now and it hurts when I sit in at a certain position…

How do they do it?

Posted in the usual by I@n

Given the pride our authorities take in being a very secured country etc… I wonder how the following happened.

The suspect for the recent murder of a little girl. How did the suspect manage to get a fake passport to cross over to Malaysia?

The newspaper reported that someone was rearing a tiger as a pet. How in the world did they manage to smuggle a tiger in?

PRICKS! PRICKS! AMERICANS ARE PRICKS!

Posted in the usual by I@n

It is confirmed! It is a fact! Americans are pricks! They have vacumm for brains! In fact, if they have just air, it’ll be fine, at least an echo would still come back every now and then. Given the fact that they voted a non sentient being back into office as president, it proves without a doubt that they have a void that baffle even the best of the scientific world. Future scholars in the school of social studies would definitely question this “bushy” phenomenon.

They see a problem yet they don’t act on it, that’s how I felt when I first visited the place a couple of years back. The results of their latest election only goes to confirm on that feeling. If their whole country wishes to implode, we could very well respect their decision. But not when they want to drag the rest of the world into their own destruction.

I think they should add a new definition for the word “bush” and “american” and define it as “ass, blockhead, cretin, dimwit, donkey, dork, dumb ox, dumbbell, dunce, dunderhead, fool, halfwit, ignoramus, imbecile, jackass, jerk, kook, meathead, mentally defective, moron, nincompoop, ninny, nitwit, pinhead, pointy head, simpleton, stupid, tomfool, twit, yo-yo”.

This is a day where democracy failed for the second time or we could define it as the new democracy, a bush democracy or american democracy where fucknuts vote with an empty head.

Where should I go?

Posted in the usual by I@n

Ok, finally managed to squeeze out a budget of around SGD$1.2k for a trip. Any recommendations on where I should go?
