Working from home…

One thing about working from home and without aircon is that you have to leave the windows open and be at the mercy of the noise pollution that constantly bombards you.

At times when it’s quiet, it’s like a dream environment for any office worker. But sometimes hell breaks loose like these past 2 days.

Someone’s doing their house renovation and some extremely depressed bugger is singing karaoke of the same song with the volume at its highest. He starts at 8am, continues until someone calls the police to complain.

Bunch of winnies at palm should wake up their ideas!!! Inform your retailers of the limitations of your hardware!!

Their retailer sold me a package consisting of a tungsten t5 and their wifi card. Later found that the wifi card not supported by t5!!!!! Called them up (Palmone) and they said have to wait for the drivers. Earliest it will be released? December. My project deadline is November… WTF???!!!!!

If not for the current project I’m doing I would not have bought this piece of no good crap… Arrrgggghhhh!!!!!

Eggs… Finally…

After what seems like years, it’s actually only been a month or so, eggs are finally reappearing in food places in Singapore. Prices are slowly dropping though we don’t expect them to return to the pre-bird flu days anytime soon.

I went down to Ya Kun kaya toast shop to have some of the delicious half boiled eggs and a french toast. As the eggs slide down my throat, I really just couldn’t believe that I could ever enjoy something so simple so much….
