Olympics (Tae Kwan Do)

Like what the commentator was saying, weird, baffling, defies reason.

What he was saying was about the decisions made by the judges. There were many instances where points were given when it was not supposed to be given, not given when it was supposed to be given, same thing for the warnings and penalties.

Often, both competitors would delay the match by not engaging or attacking but the referee would only issue warnings and penalties for one. Although he took turns with them the practice should be that both be given warnings. Throughout the broadcast, I saw only one referee doing so.

And the scoring, sometimes a competitor would score but nobody could understand how, even the person who got the score, you can actually see the baffled but pleased look.

But overall, the feel of the sport is not like what it use to be. Maybe they should change the rules to discourage the waiting during matches.
