Asthma… Bronchitis

Asthma.

Went to the doctor again for my cough and she said my symptoms are asthmatic. She said it’s a mild form of asthma and I’ll have to use the inhaler for around 3 days each time I feel like I’m about to have a coughing session and when the phlem’s not green.

I looked at her, shocked. How in the world did I come down with something like asthma? I’ve always thought it was something that you don’t just get. The doctor went on to explain to me that it could be due to a previous infection and the air quality. She also said that lots of people actually have hidden asthma symptoms do not know about it. She kept on reassuring me that the form of asthma that I have is not crippling and she could still put it down as bronchitis.

Anyway, I’ll have to take note whenever there’s a haze alert from now on. So besides hypertension, I now have asthmatic bronchitis, if there’s ever such a thing as asthmatic bronchitis.
