What do you consider extraordinary?
Every other person these days is attempting to stand out from the rest in everything he/she does so as to be unique and special. Who is truly extaordinary? Someone who try really hard to be outstanding or
someone who is truly happy being contented being themselves?
I think the latter is truly extraordinary as the latter is not influenced by people around him/her constantly trying to be better off than the other person, the alluring consumer ads telling you that you can be slimmer, more attractive if you consume this new product and many more modern society dieases that tells you that being contented is no longer enough in this new society.
Those of us who consistently strive to perform better than our colleague to climb the corporate ladder for more recognition, most of all money. The corporate is great at making the employees work their asses off to achieve their bottom line. We honestly, innocently believe that we will reap great rewards for doing so.
Sadly, truly more can be achieved if we spend that extra bout of energy on devoted to our OWN persomal goals in our lives, could be a hobby or family member and whatever that you do that will make you happy.
It truly does not matter how extraordinary our lives are to others, but to ourselves!
That is my definition of a life extraordinary lived!

What’s with photographers and their names? If you move around enough in the photographic circle you’ll notice one thing, a huge majority of them who have companies or websites always name it after themselves.
Be it a grotesquely famous photographer or a wimpy, scrawny little nobody, be it someone who have great works or if their photos looked like they were shot by a 3 year old who happened upon a broken camera, they will still name the sites and companies after themselves. Why?
Is there an innate lack of self esteem among photographers and they have this insatiable need to put an EMPHASIS on their names or are photographers a pretty egoistic bunch in general?

I gave up and went to see a doctor. I wanted to attend the 2 appointments I had this afternoon but decided to put them off. I’m quite spaced now… So now I’m back at home, just took the meds and checking some mails before I go a nap… Hope I do get better later…

I’m sick… Nose flowing liquids like the yellow river that broke its banks… Throat dry, sticky and patchy… It’s an effort to even swallow… Feeling really lethargic…

Just came back from KL last evening. Now feeling like I’m going to be sick soon.
One thing I noticed on this trip was that prices of their products and services have changed significantly since my last visit. Previously a product in Singapore that costs SGD$20 would be priced RM$20 there. Now anything that costs SGD$20 would cost RM$40 there. In fact, we even found quite a number of stuff that would be cheaper if we buy it back in Singapore. No wonder I’ve got friends whose relatives are coming to shop in Singapore recently.

Feelin’ like I am standing in the middle of the road, tryin’ to figur’ if i should go right or left. Going straight ahead seems to be heading straight towards a wall. Well, could be a mid-life crisis happening as i process towards the big 3.
” What is it that I want? ” I ask myself consistantly these 2 weeks.
Indulgence…
Happiness…
Money…
Job satisfactory…
True freedom…
Ignorance…
What is ?????
In the meantime, i sit at my desk @ work and ponder just like the rest of the folks.
Just another boring thought,

Just a quick one before I go for my lunch meeting. I was at the races yesterday ‘cos we got some tix to the owner’s lounge. Was experimenting with a few ways of placing bets and seems like I found a very interesting method which helped me recoup part of my loses during the last 2 races. Return on investment were over 100% for the last 2 games! More about this later…

Remember when I said that if a pregnant cat comes over to your house to give birth you might strike 4D?
Well, my house’s telephone number appeared as one of the winning 4D numbers. BUT, we didn’t buy that particular round… :~(

I’m having problems charging my PDA and I thought it’s getting old and it’s time for it to retire. The power light keeps on coming on and off and will gradually fade off when I attempt to charge it. The end result? My PDA hasn’t been charged for almost a week. Suspecting that it could also be due to the charger’s problem I decided to take a look at the plug and the socket.
The plug’s a two ping, which means it doesn’t have the grounding pin and it also means that the socket which the ground pin is supposed to go into is open and empty. So guess what I found there? Believe it or not, a dead moth. How it got itself stuck there? I really don’t know.
I had it removed, plugged in the charger again and viola! My PDA’s soaking in some much needed energy at this very moment…

This happened to me while I tried to bring in my camera bag into a convention. There were ushers stationed at the entrance checking bags for security reasons and soon it was my turn.
I opened my bag and the usher saw my DSLR and very firmly but politely said, “Sorry sir, your camera cannot be taken in, it’s a professional camera. We don’t allow professional cameras in here, only small little cameras and yours is a professional camera. You have 2 options, either bring back to your car if you drove or, you could deposit it into one of the lockers by the entrance.”
It felt pretty ridiculous to me so I asked, “Are you sure?”. She got kind of worried and pulled another fellow usher over. He took a look into my camera bag and I got the same reaction. It’s a professional camera, cannot bring in…
I got my M6 down in one of the secluded corners of the bag and decided to try something. I pulled the M6 out, dangled it by the strap in front of me and asked, “So this small little camera can bring in?”. Her face immediately lit up and with a big cute smile on her face cheerfully replied, “Can! Can! No problem! This little camera can bring in one, no problem!”.
So I sling the M6 over my shoulders, took out all my M lenses and a couple of rolls of film, deposited my bag in the locker ‘cos I dun drive, entered the convention, shot what I came to shoot and left without a problem.

It is amazing how awareness of certain facts can redefine our whole outlook on life and for that matter traditions and cultures with which we live our whole life by.
The discovery of a 10th planet named “Sedna” after the Inuit goddess of the ocean, within our Solar System. Do consider the million of lives that would get totally screwed, because at this very moment someone would be reading this - “Can you avoid money? Today you may want to try! That’s because today your judgment regarding the use of money is at below normal levels. Try putting off any major purchases or investments. You’ll also want to avoid advising others how to spend their money. Tomorrow things will be back to normal.”
Perhaps Sedna could rise over uranus and those under the sign Aquarius would feel that - “Today romance is a much greater possibility! So what can you do to improve your chances? You needn’t say a word. That’s because today your nonverbal signals are the key to improving your chances of making a love connection. When meeting people today, let your eyes and smile express your true intentions.”
Perhaps the revelation of this planet Sedna, could be the very sign for anyone needing to come out-of-the-closet to do so soon. Closets are dark and castrophobic, not a good place even for hide-n-seek.
